Human Rights and Justice host Nkechi Taifa chats with Obi Egbuna, Jr. about the republishing of the iconic book of his father, "Destroy this Temple,” first published in 1971. The senior Egbuna was a Nigerian-born novelist, playwright and political activist known for being a member of the British Black Panther movement (1968-72) during the years he lived in England. "Destroy this Temple" was noted as "the first full-scale exposition of Black Power thought in a British context." The Black Classic Press edition of "Destroy this Temple" was championed to publication by the late author's son, Obi Egbuna Jr. who provided a new introduction highlighting his father's life and his literary legacy.
